    What is Radiesse?

    Radiesse® is a biostimulator based on calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) – a mineral also found in human bone. Its unique advantage: Radiesse delivers immediate volume like a filler while stimulating collagen production over months.

    In Karlsruhe we use Radiesse primarily for contouring the jawline and chin, and for tightening the hand and neck areas. The dual action – immediate and long-lasting – makes Radiesse one of the most versatile biostimulators available.

    Radiesse starts at €549 per 1.5 ml syringe. Full jawline + chin treatment usually requires 2 syringes (from €999), hand rejuvenation for both hands from €699. Final prices incl. statutory VAT, billed per GOÄ.

    Volume is visible immediately. Over 3–6 months results continue improving through collagen stimulation.

    12–18 months, often longer. The newly formed collagen remains partially permanent – the structural improvement is sustainable.

    Hyaluronic acid is reversible, Radiesse isn't – but Radiesse lasts longer and stimulates collagen. Radiesse is great for stable contours (jaw, chin, hands); hyaluronic acid is better for very dynamic or lip-adjacent areas.

    Radiesse: immediate volume + collagen, ideal for contouring. Sculptra: purely gradual improvement, ideal for large-area skin tightening. We recommend the right biostimulator in consultation.

    Like any injection: swelling, redness, small bruises – usually 2–5 days. Rarely, nodules may form, largely avoidable with correct technique.

    No. Radiesse is not approved for lips – we use hyaluronic acid fillers there. Hyaluronic acid is also better suited for the tear trough.
